The Ray White Group is pleased to acknowledge the recommitment of Ray White Metro ( AJ McPherson Limited).

AJ McPherson Limited has been long term members of Ray White and has consistently been one of the top performing businesses throughout New Zealand.  During the past period there has been a repositioning of the group due to the devastating effects of the Canterbury earthquakes. Today the business is known as Ray White Metro and has the largest sales and property management business in Canterbury for Ray White.   The 35-strong sales team continue to gain market share through their consistent approach to prospecting and assisting property owners throughout the Canterbury region.

Tony McPherson, head of Ray White Metro, said that his business has never been in better shape.  “Although we are facing challenges, as many of the community are in Christchurch, we are committed, positive and continue to make plans based on the rebuilding of Christchurch.  Our property management business, as with our sales business, has gone from strength to strength given the extra needs the community has for real estate services during the past six months.”

Sales manager, Vanessa Golightly, said that the business now has a lot of traction.  “Having such a large sales team has given the confidence to vendors in the marketplace that Ray White Metro is an agency of choice when it comes to selling their property.”  Vanessa went on to say that they are encouraged by the number of new salespeople they have had join their team and that she expected to continue the growth in market share.

Carey Smith, Chief Executive of Ray White New Zealand commented “Ray White Metro is one of the pillars of our Canterbury business.  Tony, Vanessa and the team are outstanding.  The way they have responded to the challenges in Christchurch has been remarkable.  We are delighted to have them continue with us on our collective drive for leadership.”
