Barry Jones understands rural life from both sides of the fence. Raised on a dairy farm in Taranaki, he attended school at Mokoia and Hawera before making the Waikato his home. He and his wife Jenny have lived on their lifestyle block at Te Kowhai since 1999, giving him a personal connection to the kind of properties he helps people buy and sell.

After a 15-year career in local government, Barry began selling real estate with First National Te Awamutu in 2002. He joined Ray White Hamilton in early 2009, bringing his rural background to the team’s work with farm and lifestyle property owners.

Since joining Ray White, his work has included involvement in more than $55 million in property sales. His recognition includes Ray White’s 2020/2021 Executive award and 2016 Executive Performer (NZ) award.

Outside real estate, Barry is a registered owner and trainer who trains his horses at Te Rapa. He is also an avid bridge player and has attained Grand Master status.
