As an enrolled Barrister and Solicitor, Licensed Agent and five-time award winning auctioneer - including runner-up at 2026 REINZ Senior Open Championships and 2025 LVD World Championships - Daryll brings a broad skillset and well over a decade of experience in both New Zealand and Australia as auctioneer, coach, and manager to Ray White's auction team.
Characterised by a personable, transparent approach, empathy and an absolute commitment to professionalism, Daryll’s negotiation abilities are underpinned by a Bachelor of Laws, providing him not only with a nuanced appreciation of the complexities involved in the sales process, but also enabling him to help clients navigate successfully from listing to the fall of the hammer.
Something of a thespian at heart, Daryll relishes being at the coalface of the auction process. Whether in conducting the bidding with his signature energy and dynamism, or in enthusiastically getting everyone to ‘yes’ during a pause in proceedings for negotiations, Daryll can be relied upon to bring his legal and sales skills to bear when needed most: to deliver exceptional outcomes for his clients.
In his spare time, Daryll is passionate about off-road trail running, having been involved in his earlier years in competitive running under the coaching guidance of the late Arthur Lydiard on the slopes of the Waitakere Ranges.
