Dushen Mallimaratchi discovered his passion for real estate after he purchased his first home. Joining the industry in 2019, he hit the ground running achieving the Rising Star award, and in his first year at Ray White quickly achieved Premier status based on total sales. He is proud to hold the record for selling the first million-dollar property in Otara and later an ingenious $1 reserve auction he held drew media attention and helped stir up competition to successfully sell the property. 

Dushen is well known locally and focuses his business on home sellers and buyers in the Auckland region from central city to the Bombay Hills. 

Dushen grew up in Sri Lanka and Australia and speaks English and Sinhalese. He came to New Zealand many years ago to further his experience in the hospitality industry and worked as a chef for a number of establishments in and around the Auckland region. Within a very short space of time, he was a head chef – at a relatively young age – at one of the Metro Top 10 café/restaurants in Auckland.
