I was born and raised on a farm in Otorohanga where I worked for 20 years after leaving school. I then began working in town where, over the next 25 years, I was a motorcycle dealer, stock and station agent and then self employed. I've been heavily involved in music as a musician and currently play in a dance band. I also have an interest in wildlife and have volunteered with the Wildlife Department for a number of years in the field of New Zealand reptiles (with an emphasis on the tuatara). At the moment I am a salesperson for Ray White Otorohanga.
