Leonie was born in Sydney, Australia. Her early career was in hospitality giving her the opportunity to travel extensively through Australia, North America and Europe. Leonie came to New Zealand in 1995 for a 5-month working holiday, she was captured by the beauty and lifestyle New Zealand had to offer so, after meeting her husband Chris at Kingfish Lodge, settled here to raise their family. The Brittain family has lived in the Bay of Islands for 3 generations now, and have great local knowledge, lots of contacts and have strong ties to the fishing community among others. As a family they enjoy the outdoors, camping, fishing, traveling together and with friends. The more the merrier. Leonie started her real estate career in 2004. She has been a business owner and property manager for 5 years, prior to taking the steps to focus on her sales career.
