The top result for the week went to Ray White Manurewa agents Jess Carlin and Jay Singh who sold 97 Waihoehoe Road, Drury, under the hammer for $3.12 million. The auction saw five registered bidders and three active bidders.
The auction with the highest number of registered bidders went to Ray White Manukau agents Raksha Lakhan and Shastrika Chand who saw 15 registered and 15 active bidders at their 38 Walters Road, Mount Wellington, auction. The property sold under the hammer for $1.07 million.
Another outstanding result was for 13 Thompson Tce, Manurewa, which sold under the hammer for $713,000. Marketed by Ray White Manurewa agents Daemon van Riele and Uros Bojovic, the auction recorded 15 registered and 10 active bidders, with a developer landing the winning bid.
The seller, Henny Boniface was selling the home on behalf of her dad who had moved into aged care.
“It was my mum and dad’s home, they had been there about 40 years,” Henny said.
“I was overwhelmed with the result! We weren’t expecting such a good result when we looked at the market and the types of buyers who might be interested. I was very impressed with how it all went.”
Henny said she felt confident sending the home to auction.
“After seeing the result today I think I would recommend other sellers give the auction process a go,” she said.
“Daemon was absolutely fabulous. He came up to the home and met my dad and kept us up-to-date with what was going on the whole time. I met Uros on auction day and he was amazing too. I know he was working hard behind the scenes as well.
Ray White Carpenter Realty sold three-out-of-three properties under the hammer at the in-room auctions this week with a total sales value of $3.14 million.
The top result went to listing agent Regan Golding who sold 34 Mcphail Street, Birkdale, under the hammer for $1.11 million. The auction saw two registered bidders and two active bidders.
The sellers, Helen and her family, had lived in the home for 14 years and were upsizing with their two children.
“We’re upsizing with our two kids. We were first home buyers when we purchased this, It was our first sale ever so we didn't really know which way was up,” Helen said.
“I didn't want to do an auction to start with, but Regan talked us through everything and her strategy, and helped us understand ways we could make it easier for buyers. We were onboard.
“I went into the auction thinking ‘oh no, we only have two bidders’, but on the night Regan and David and the auctioneer, did so well and made it happen. I was stoked.
“I would recommend going to auction with Ray White. Regan was easy to understand, and she had a great strategy. We were so happy with how everything went.”
