There was nothing unlucky for Ray White offices in Christchurch recently as red-hot auction activity continued to fire with 14 properties selling under the hammer for a $7,878,000 total.
“As we come towards the end of September, we’ve had a record number of auctions called by our Ray White offices across Christchurch this month, breaking all previous records,” said Ray White New Zealand South Island Regional Manager Jane Meyer.
“These 13 sales were another outstanding set of results for our sellers across Christchurch and highlights the competition created by the demand for property outstripping the supply – there has never been a better time to list and sell your property.
“More and more, the auction method is being seen as the best way to achieve the best price for our vendors, and it seems even banks are now on-board with auction preference – as we note pre-approval priority is being given if they’re buying at auction.”
