Tauranga presents perhaps the most striking imbalance of all major cities, with only 82 men to every 100 women – a ratio that falls even below its surrounding Bay of Plenty region’s average of 86. This stark difference highlights how dramatically dating prospects can vary between urban centers and their wider regions.
