History with a New Beginning

Palmerston is well known for its history, including a township of early settlement and the once busy central train station between Christchurch and Dunedin. The popular station required housing for its workers and this property was known as one of them. Stunning rimu floors and original 1930's features throughout the home. The open plan living is complimented by a large wood burner on wetback and the home has new insulation in the ceiling and underfloor. The elevated home is spacious with three good sized bedrooms and sits well positioned for good all-day sun. The large 1078sqm (+/-) section has a vegetable garden and has been beautifully planted with your very own mini orchard offering a range of over 15 different berries and fruit trees planted in quality soil with no sprays being used.
A popular and fast-growing location for families and first home buyers. With a range of local services, schooling & amenities, this is the perfect home to create a new beginning surrounded in history. Call Leanne today to secure your viewing.
