Christine Fowler has been a stalwart of the real estate industry, beginning her journey with Ray White Howick in 1993 and culminating in a distinguished 30-year career as she heads into retirement in 2023. She began her real estate career in 1988 and soon became a foundation member of Ray White New Zealand when they acquired United Realty Group.
Throughout her career, Christine made a profound impact on the East Auckland real estate market. Under the guidance of Bob Mountfort, the original franchise owner of Ray White Howick, Christine quickly rose to become Ray White New Zealand’s number one salesperson. Her exceptional performance earned her the prestigious CEO Cup, a highlight she fondly recalls: "Winning the Ray White New Zealand CEO Cup was the pinnacle of my journey with Ray White."
Christine's legacy extends beyond sales; she has been a mentor to many, including Anton Huang, the current principal of Ray White Howick. She played a key role in Anton's growth, mentoring him from a new agent to the leading agent and eventually assisting him in acquiring the business. Anton reflects on her influence, stating, "She has been my personal mentor and greatly respected within our group and the East Auckland community."
Ray White New Zealand’s executive chairman, Carey Smith, lauds Christine for her remarkable career, highlighting her transition from a leading salesperson to a management role, and later as a crucial part of the leadership team in the Ray White East Auckland network. "Her ability to gain trust through quality decision-making has been a constant throughout her career," he notes.
At 76, Christine feels ready for retirement but remains open to lending her expertise when needed. "I’ve retired, I’m not gone. If someone needs me, they just need to ring," she says. As she steps back to enjoy her well-earned retirement, Christine leaves behind a legacy of mentorship, leadership, and unwavering dedication to the real estate industry.
