Matte began his career in property management as a Junior Property Manager and steadily progressed through roles including Property Manager, Team Leader, and most recently, Head of Residential Property Management for a growing Auckland-based agency. In this position, he led a team of ten, overseeing operations, recruitment, training, and compliance, while playing a key role in driving strategic improvements across the business.
He brings a deep understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and has extensive experience representing cases at the Tenancy Tribunal. Known for his calm, solutions-focused approach, Matte has earned a reputation for supporting teams through complex tenancy matters and strengthening overall performance.
His passion lies in developing people, refining systems, and building the capability of property managers to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
Now joining the Ray White network, Matte contributes broad industry expertise across tenancy legislation, team management, operational support, and business development, offering practical value to offices throughout the group.
