Norman Donald
Norman Donald joined the robust Rotorua office of Ray White in December 2013. He transitioned from running his own small boutique real estate business, which focused on the Rotorua Lakes, to Ray White mainly because of the strength of the Ray White brand. Norman believed that having multinational connections was essential for sourcing potential buyers and gaining listings in the real estate business.
Norman's farming background gives him an advantage when discussing farming aspects with potential property vendors. He owned and established Crater Lake Farm overlooking Lake Tarawera. Over 15 years, he continuously improved the property, which initially started as a run-off. Norman also developed a Limousin stud herd from a small number of purebred French Limousin cows and got into deer farming by purchasing hinds. His encounter with Tim Wallis led him to swiftly venture into aviation with his own Hughes 500c helicopter and a commercial pilot's license.
After successfully marketing his own property abroad and selling Crater Lake Farm, Norman realized that his experience uniquely positioned him to represent a variety of landowners, from farmers to lake property owners. Today, there are very few actual farmers in the real estate industry who have hands-on farming experience. Norman offers his expertise and background to represent landowners effectively and is ready to meet and discuss plans with anyone seeking his services.
