1930s Bungalow attracts flurry of bidding from a range of buyers
An Epsom character bungalow has sold under the hammer for $2.403 million in a thrilling auction which saw eight registered bidders.
A total of 38 bids were placed before the property was ultimately sold for $2.403 million.
“The winning bid went to one of the two buyers who jumped in last minute,” Ms Woods-Markwick said.
“The buyers are two lovely women who are going to do a big, extensive, renovation and flip it. One of them has flipped homes before."
Cameron Brain, director of sales and auctions for Ray White City Realty Group, praised the campaign.
"This auction was a textbook example of a well-executed strategy. Susan and Hugh ensured multiple buyers were ready to compete on the day, creating the momentum we witnessed in the auction room,” Mr Brain said.
“It's also encouraging to see the depth and diversity of buyers seeking quality property in this area."
