“This is the third time I’ve sold this house so it’s really interesting to see from a market trend longer term. I sold it for $680,000 in 2011, $1.305 million in 2016, and $2.011 million in 2021.
“We had 76 groups through during the campaign and that resulted in seven registered bidders with the eventual buyers being a couple who had fairly recently returned from the UK and had been looking in the market for six months – so we’re very happy they got their house.”
It was also a similar success story for Ray White Kingsland Salespeople Tim Hawes and Mark Prunty as they sold 2/57A Mountain View Road in Western Springs for $725,000.
“Nothing has changed with the Alert Levels. We had seven property campaigns start last week and yesterday was busier than normal with people trying to organize building inspectors, getting paperwork for pre-auction offers, and lining up second viewings,” Mr Hawes said.
“This auction was brought forward and we had three registered buyers with several missing out as they were unable to get organised in time.”
