After their January auction event, which saw a 68 per cent clearance rate across 53 auctions, Ray White AT Realty are hosting their biggest auction event yet, with volume up 48 per cent.

With offices in Manukau, Manurewa, Mangere, Mangere Bridge, Auckland Central, and Wynyard Quarter, Ray White AT Realty sales director Richie Lewis said the success of their auctions was drawing more sellers to their events.

“Until now we’ve averaged around 50 listings per event. This one is 75, a 48 per cent increase,” he said.

“That’s not incremental. That’s momentum.

“In the past 48 hours, additional sellers have asked to join the event and we’ve had to schedule them for the following week.”

Mr Lewis said they were no longer just running an auction event:

“We are becoming the marketplace,” he said.

“When this volume of stock concentrates in one event, buyer demand concentrates with it.

“Our auction events have become the place for sellers to sell, and buyers to buy.”

After 43 years in the same family 113 Carruth Road, Papatoetoe, is up for auction, marketed by Ray White Manukau’s Jay Singh and Jay Le.

The home was built by the sellers’ family, and they have run a well known automotive upholstery business from property.

“They had the family home at the front and ran the business out of the three bay garage out the back,” Mr Singh said.

“The father passed away a few years ago, and one of the sons has been living in the home to help look after his mother. They’ve decided it’s time to sell and buy something smaller and more central.

“The property is 1000sqm and is in the golden circle for development in the area, so I think a lot of developers will be interested.”

A property at 16 Mcinnes Road, Weymouth, was built by the seller, Des, and his family back in 1972, after Des bought the land from his father who was a long time local identity and jack of all trades.

Located on the Manukau harbour it’s just one block back from the water. Des was an avid fisherman and exceptional engineer. He crafted boat propellers and anchors for local fishermen over the years in the workshop downstairs.

The other half of the downstairs area was a pottery studio, where Des and his wife used to make their own pottered goods for sale.

The property is now up for auction on Game Day through Ray White Manukau agent Charlie Brothers.

Tucked away in a quiet crescent in one of South Auckland’s family-friendly neighbourhoods, 39 Moss Crescent, Takanini, is more than a house - it’s a home.

For the past 12 years, this property has been a place of stability, achievement, and family connection. Nestled in a peaceful, safe pocket of Takanini, it sits near open green spaces and tranquil reserves, offering a lifestyle that many families search for but few find. The street is calm, the surroundings beautiful, and the atmosphere truly serene.

The home sits on a generous 912 sqm section, providing space for children to play, family gatherings, and outdoor entertaining.

The seller, Kanwalpreet, reflected on her years spent there fondly.

"This isn’t just a house, it’s where a life was built,” she said.

“It’s so peaceful here, you forget the hustle of central Auckland.

This home has brought me luck and success in my career, and our move is about our children’s education, not about leaving the warmth of this community.

“We’ve hosted many family gatherings here, and there was never an issue with parking with space for up to eight cars outside the house and wide, easy-access roads.

“There’s a truly special feeling on this street. The neighbours are lovely, supportive, and always willing to help. It’s been a wonderful place to call home."

A property at 7 Welby Place, Mangere, is on the market for the first time in 40 years with Ray White Manukau agent Levani Lum-On.

“It’s a really good sized site, but it needs a lot of work,” Mr Lum-On said.

“But it presents pretty good value for the right buyer.”
