Almost 80 properties are set to go under the hammer as part of The Event, with in-room auctions at Ray White Birkenhead, Ray White Glenfield, Ray White Milford, and Ray White Orewa.

Ray White Mairangi Bay|Milford business owner Shane Coote said The Event was a fantastic way to kick off the year of auctions.

“The Event 5.0 is all about creating momentum and not waiting for it to come to us,” Mr Coote said.

“Everything about our auction events is designed to maximise the number of eyes we get on a property and turn that into great results for our clients.

“There’s plenty of options for a range of buyers to snap up a property to start their 2026.

“We feel that, with buyers showing a lot more confidence lately, The Event 5.0 promises to be our best event yet!”

Ray White Carpenter Realty business owner Glenn Carpenter said buyers were out in force with properties listed for auction at The Event already gaining lots of attention.

“Buyers are always out early after the holiday break and it’s the vendors that traditionally take a while to get on the market,” Mr Carpenter said.

“Advising our clients to be ready to go early, avoiding congestion, has always worked for them.

“This year looks to be no exception with some very exciting viewing numbers immediately from launch day.”

A highlight of The Event is set to be the auction for 2/1 Gray Crescent, Torbay, which is being marketed by Ray White Milford agents Natasha Wiseman and Shane Coote.

“It’s attracted a lot of interest and will certainly be popular on auction day,” Mr Coote said.

Ray White Milford business owner Kris Cunningham said the North Shore market was seeing a lot of momentum to kick off the year, with 9 Tudward Glade, Hillcrest, selling before the first open home.

“Had a groundbreaking number of views online and enquiries,” Mr Cunningham said.

“It was a solid family home and there was a family who fell in love with it and couldn't wait until auction day to have it.”

A home 46 Chelsea View Drive, Chatswood, is heading to auction on February 3 with a slew of interest. The three-bedroom home is being marketed by Rochelle Brinsdon and Kristen Marks who had 23 groups through the first mid-week open home.

Another standout property is 7 Fuschia Place, Birkdale which is being marketed by Ray White Glenfield agents Fleur Wallace and Paul Glover who saw 13 groups through the first mid-week open home.
