Ray White gives back

In its 12th year, Ray White’s Christmas charity campaign ‘A Little Ray of Giving’ looked a little bit different this year.

A Little Ray of Giving is the group’s annual Christmas charity initiative, with the primary focus for offices to give back to their local communities through a charity of their choice, by collecting and making donations. They’re able to connect with their local communities through the marketing assets provided by Ray White and give back to their chosen charity.

This year, Ray White introduced their very own Ray White Christmas Elf – Little Ray (pictured at top). Little Ray was delivered to all Ray White residential offices with the key objective to create buzz and build community presence through the activity ‘12 Days of Elf on the Shelf’. The campaign encouraged offices to take the opportunity to get festive and ultimately give back to their chosen charity and local community. The group had a record 353 Ray White offices join in with the charity initiative this year.

Little Ray got out and about in the communities across Australia and New Zealand and was seen doing everything from skydiving to surfing, helping to make this year’s A Little Ray of Giving campaign the most successful yet with close to 4,000 gifts donated.

The Ray White Patterson Lakes team were excited to be able to give more than 650 Christmas presents to their local Lions Club International, with many of the gifts coming from one very generous local business.

“Ray White Patterson Lakes received a visit from Code 12 Towing & Stylefinish Auto Body, marking a noteworthy occasion of generosity. The team from Code 12 contributed significantly to the A Little Ray of Giving initiative by donating a total of 374 gifts – yes, 374 gifts,” Emily Hill said, team manager to Ray White Patterson Lakes principal Genevieve Hill.

“The gesture unfolded when Franco, one of Genevieve’s past clients, got in touch with Genevieve in the morning, notifying us of their plan to drop by with ‘a few gifts’. Upon arrival, Franco arrived with a truck load of gifts. We could not believe it!

“We’re genuinely grateful for the kindness displayed by Franco and the entire team at Code 12 Towing & Stylefinish Auto Body. Their thoughtful contribution underscores the impact that local businesses can have on the community and we extend our sincere thanks for their support of A Little Ray of Giving. An outstanding effort that should not go unnoticed.”

Every year, the team at Ray White Queenstown (pictured above) in New Zealand eagerly embrace the spirit of giving through the A Little Ray of Giving campaign.

“It’s a tradition we hold close to our hearts as we decorate our workspace and collect gifts to

support local charities in Queenstown and Arrowtown,” Emma Wilson of Ray White Queenstown said.

“What we cherish most about the A Little Ray of Giving campaign is the opportunity it provides to make a real difference in our community. Queenstown, often seen as a well-off area, still has families who are quietly struggling with the rising cost of living. We see this campaign as a chance to ensure that no one gets left behind, especially during the holiday season.

“In Queenstown, our office is dedicated to supporting the Happiness House Community Centre, which has been a pillar of the community since 1991. In Arrowtown, we stand behind Baskets of Blessing, a charitable trust and volunteer organisation that goes above and beyond to assist individuals and families facing unexpected life challenges.

“Christmas is truly the best time of the year in our town, with a bustling atmosphere and an outpouring of happiness. It’s heartwarming to see our little community come together to support those who are less fortunate.”
